Soho, the district known for its fantastic nightlife, shopping and historical culture can also be known for its high prices. Budgets are no stranger to the savvy shopper who is on the mission to save.

Katie Doohan, a 19 year old student says: “It can get pretty pricey for us students, but that doesn’t stop my friends and I from coming to Soho, especially after exam time.”

Doohan says she fancies a regular stroll to Regent Street, dotted with an enormous amount of shopping and dining for anyones liking.

“I can find Californian inspired hoodies with a 15% off student discount so it keeps me coming back to my favourite shops like Hollister. I adore the Vasiniko London that do a really amazing Italian pizza…and the Chequers Tavern is also a lovely place to stop after shopping to give your feet a rest. I get most of my shopping done also at Berwick Street or Kingly Court.”

And, scattered throughout Soho are some of the best nightclubs that also offer discount relief for students.

Salsa in Leicester Square has an authentic Latin vibe with affordable drinks and even dancing for students. Also based in the West End is Bar Rumba, giving you an up-all-night feeling with each evening promoting a different theme.

But heading for drinks isn’t the only post-exam party out there.

For bookworms looking to get a good read, Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross Road offers 10% off in store discount for students looking to save. Their cafe is located on the 5th floor and is a vegetarian friendly spot for you to pop by for a quick bite.

Another super grab for those looking to cut their prices in half is London Party Pub Crawl. Just off Piccadilly Circus station, you can fancy a drink deal up to 50% off. Just go easy on the drinks so you can continue to enjoy your amazing night out!

Soho provides solid entertainment not just for foodies but for film-goers, too. The soul of West End has long been focused on entertaining its audiences from around the globe. Whether you’ve been eyeing a particular act for some time or just looking for that last minute late night film, the West End has something to offer everyone.

John Taylor, former Vice-President of the British Board of Film Classification says: “Soho is the heartbeat of London’s West End and thrives in entertainment. What is spectacular about the area is that stars from all over the world come right here for red carpet premieres and it is a spectacular experience.”

Taylor recommends visiting one of the splendid venues at Vue, Odeon or Cineworld for a late night flick.

And you just can’t leave Soho without treating yourself or a friend to a spectacular West End show. Soho has also been the backdrop for silver screen films such as “Expresso Bongo,”which was a 1959 classic featuring plenty of evening shots of night life in West End.

Still going strong is Thriller Live, performing at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue. Bridgette Anne, 21, is a Thriller enthusiast, saying that one can get a feel for the King of Pop’s musical genius at the show.

“Thriller Live brings you back to the place of Michael Jackson’s magic. If you are a fan of  MJ you’ve definitely got to make it over there. I’ve always loved discovering this part of the area but this is a must and it’s just fantastic.”

There’s nothing quite like the vibe of the theatre. The Gielgud, Apollo and Les Miserables London Theatre also provide pulsating concerts and heartwarming shows.

It isn’t hard to discover there’s plenty of discounts to help you stay on budget. With plenty of ease, you can shop, party and save whilst enjoying the night out in one of the most iconic spots in London, right in the vibrant heart of West End’s Soho.
